Children's Tea Parties!!!

Hosting children's tea parties are my favorite...

On April 17, 2011, we hosted a children's tea party at a Brentwood home for Avery's 9-th birthday.

My staff and I had so much fun decorating the tables before the guests arrived. The tables were decorated with pink table runners, beautiful cake stands, and with vintage English bone china. The floral arrangements were also created by our creative staff.

It was another successful children's tea party. Everyone enjoyed tea time with their friends and experienced the tea-time delicacies; the scones, lemon curd, blackberry preserve, clotted cream, and fresh fruits.

We served three different kinds of teas; our favorite - sweet mint, English lavender, and the birthday girl's favorite, the Chamomile tea.

The finger tea sandwiches were also served at the same time. The four finger sandwiches were the famous cucumber, peanut butter and jelly, tuna, and turkey and mustard. Everyone's favorite was the peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

After the tea, everyone got busy decorating their own cupcakes with vanilla icing and the colorful spring-time sprinkles.

Overall, everyone had a great time. I was amazed to see all the little girls added their cubes in their cups and patiently waiting for their tea to be served. It seemed like all the little girls passed the tea etiquette class before they sent their RSVP cards.
