| Raspberry Sandwiched Sugar Cookies |
Valentine's Day Sugar Cookie Recipe:
1. 1 cup shortening
2. 1 1/3 cups sugar
3. 2 tsp. vanilla
4. 2 large eggs
5. 3 cups sifted flour
6. 1 tsp. salt
7. 2 tsp. baking powder
8. 2 T. milk
Cream shortening, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs, beat well. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder; stir into creamed mixture along with milk. Chill for two hours. Then Roll on lightly floured board to 1/4" thickness. Cut into desired shapes with your favorite cookie cutter. Place cookies on parchment lined cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
